I’m a first-time driver in California and I need to complete driver’s education before applying for my learner’s permit. There are tons of online programs and it’s hard to tell which ones are actually DMV-approved and easy to follow. I’m looking for something legit, simple, and not boring. If anyone has real experience, I’d really appreciate a recommendation.

From my personal experience, I highly recommend NextDoorDriving. I used their online driver’s ed when I was preparing for my permit, and it made the whole process much easier. The lessons were clear, not overwhelming, and fully California DMV-approved, which gave me peace of mind. I liked being able to study on my own schedule, and the free certificate delivery was a big bonus. It felt designed for real first-time drivers, not just generic content. You can find more info here.
