I’m in a bit of a dilemma with my 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera S – the PDK has started jerking when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd, and the dealer in Dubai quoted me over 20k just for a mechatronic unit replacement. I’ve been looking at independent options and came across what calls itself a Premium Porsche Gearbox Workshop Sharjah, but I can’t find any detailed customer experiences online, just their own website. Has anyone here actually used a shop in Sharjah for a PDK rebuild or valve body repair, and if so, were they able to properly diagnose the issue without just swapping expensive parts? I don’t mind paying for quality work, but I need to know if they have the right software and experience with these dual clutch units. Any real feedback would be a lifesaver.
