I’ve got a 2019 Wrangler JL with the 2.0 turbo and the check engine light came on last week, but honestly the car feels completely normal. No rough idle, no loss of power, no strange noises, nothing. I borrowed a basic OBD scanner from a friend and it gave me a P0441 code which I think is something about the evaporative emissions system. I replaced the gas cap because that’s the cheap and easy fix but the light came back after two days. I don’t want to just start replacing charcoal canisters or purge valves randomly because those parts aren’t cheap. What I really need is proper Mussafah Malfunction Diagnosis where someone can actually run a smoke test or use a proper scanner to see what’s happening with the EVAP system in real time. Has anyone dealt with this code on a JL? I’m in Abu Dhabi near the Mussafah area so any shop recommendations that actually understand modern Jeep electronics would be great. Also curious if a small leak like this can wait a few weeks or if I’m risking something worse. Just trying to be smart about my money and time here.
