Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to improve cooling performance of my air conditioner because it’s not cooling the room as fast or evenly as it used to. I’ve noticed it runs longer cycles but still doesn’t give that strong, steady cooling I expect, especially in peak heat.

What are some real things you’ve tried that actually made a difference in improving AC cooling? I’ve heard about cleaning filters and checking gas levels, but I’m not sure what really matters most or what’s just theory.
