My mate brought over a bottle last weekend after seeing a few rave reviews online, and he poured us a couple of glasses straight over a single block of ice. I usually stick to scotch when drinking spirits neat because standard clear spirits always leave that nasty, medicinal throat burn, but this was a total eye-opener. Turns out it was lex vodka https://www.lex.vodka/. He was telling me that because they rest the liquid for 6 full months and put it through a 13-stage filtration process, it comes out remarkably silky with zero ethanol bite. It has these really subtle, delicate botanical notes that make it genuinely enjoyable to just sit back and sip slowly after dinner. I’m definitely planning to pick up a bottle for my own bar cart at home before the weekend. Has anyone else on here tried it yet? Would love to know if it holds up just as well in a classic dry Martini or if you strictly prefer drinking it straight on the rocks! Cheers.

Vodka neat lives or dies on filtration and water source — the good ones taste almost sweet and have no burn at all, the cheap ones taste like ethanol no matter how cold. Serving temperature matters more than the brand for most people. I saw a similar point at https://casinacho-de.com.de and it applied here.
