When an account has a long follower list, newer additions can be difficult to distinguish from older followers. Manually comparing hundreds of names seems like a lot of work for something that could be a fairly simple check. How do people usually monitor changes to a public audience over time?
A large Instagram audience can change quite a bit without making the new additions obvious. Scrolling through a long list and trying to remember which usernames were there before is hardly a practical way to keep track of things. I was looking for a simpler way to compare changes over time, and recently-followed.com seems relevant for checking recent additions to a public profile without going through the entire follower list from scratch.
