Hey guys. I’ve got a running list of small stuff around the house in Schaumburg that I just never get to: a door that won’t latch, a couple of loose railings, drywall patches from an old TV mount, a leaky outdoor faucet and some trim that’s coming off. None of it is big enough for a real contractor, but together it’s eating my weekends. Most companies I call either don’t want small jobs or quote a crazy minimum. Is there a decent handyman service around the northwest suburbs that will actually come out for a list like this?

A list like yours is exactly the kind of thing that’s worth knocking out in one visit. We had something similar in Arlington Heights, sticking doors, a wobbly railing and a bunch of drywall patches, and called Handy Eagle Pro https://handyeaglepro.com/home-repair-maintenance/ to sort it all out. They didn’t blink at the small jobs. I sent the list ahead of time, they gave a price for the whole thing up front, and one guy got through most of it in a single day. The railing he fixed properly with new anchors instead of just tightening the old screws. The outdoor faucet took a second trip because he needed a part, which was a small annoyance, but he came back two days later as promised. Tip: take photos of each item and send them with your list, it saves time on the estimate.
