Hello fellow authors! After completing my manuscript, I’m now faced with the daunting decision between self-publishing and traditional book publishing services. I’ve researched both paths extensively, but nothing compares to real experiences from those who’ve been through it.
For those who’ve used traditional book publishing services : How long did the process take? Was the editorial feedback valuable? Did you feel the marketing support was adequate?
And for the self-publishers: Which platforms gave you the best results? Did you hire freelance editors/designers, or use all-in-one book publishing services? What were your upfront costs versus returns?
I’m particularly interested in hearing about hybrid book publishing services that might offer the best of both worlds. My genre is historical fiction, if that matters for recommendations.
Any insights on which book publishing services provided the best value for money would be tremendously helpful. Thanks in advance for sharing your publishing journeys!

Risk assessment is part of advanced training. Guards learn to evaluate potential threats in various environments, how much do security guards make from malls to construction sites. They are trained to identify vulnerabilities and propose solutions. Risk assessments help prevent incidents and improve safety planning, making guards valuable contributors to organizational risk management.
