I once saw a friend get upset after realizing an old Instagram post had disappeared right before an argument started in our group chat, everyone suddenly had theories about what was written there and the whole thing turned more awkward than it needed to be, that is what made me search how to find someones deleted instagram posts but the more I thought about it the more uncomfortable it felt, If someone deleted a post there is probably a reason even if people around them are curious, I understand wanting context especially when drama or misunderstandings happen online but digging after removed content can cross a privacy line fast, do you think deleted posts should simply stay gone or are there fair situations where looking for them makes sense?

I learned the hard way that screenshots can become more useful than you expect when my sister deleted a small baking page she had been testing and later wanted to reuse the captions for a new account, we checked her phone gallery, old story shares, cached previews, and messages where she had sent posts to friends, during that search, how to find someones deleted instagram posts, but I realized it only makes sense for your own content or public traces, since then, she saves drafts and photos before deleting anything online.
