How often are you guys actually servicing your daily drivers here?

I’ll be honest, I’ve been pretty lazy with my 2018 X1 lately. With work being crazy and the summer heat making me not want to do anything, I’ve gone almost 14,000 km since the last oil change. The car still runs fine but I know I’m probably pushing my luck, especially with how dusty it gets and all the stop start driving around Abu Dhabi. My dad keeps telling me that back in the day you could stretch intervals but modern turbo engines really need Experienced Vehicle Care to catch small issues before they become big bills. I’m planning to finally take it in next week for a full inspection and oil service, but I’m curious what maintenance schedule actually makes sense for someone like me who does a mix of highway cruising and city traffic. Do you guys really stick to 10k intervals or do you push it further? Also any tips on what extra things I should ask them to check besides the basics would be great. Just trying to keep this car alive for another few years without any major surprises.
