I’m trying to find an efficient cooling solution for a smaller area in my home, and I’ve been considering a mini split AC system for small spaces because it seems quieter and more energy-efficient than traditional window units. The room doesn’t have existing ductwork, so I’m looking for something that can cool effectively without requiring major renovations.

From what I’ve read, a mini split AC system for small spaces can provide better temperature control while using less electricity, which sounds ideal for bedrooms, offices, garages, or studio apartments. I’m just unsure about the installation cost and whether the performance is worth the investment long term.

For anyone who has installed a mini split in a compact area, how well does it cool during peak summer temperatures, and would you recommend it over other cooling options?
