    Linux is an operating system just like Windows. Follow these steps if you want to check ink levels on Linux:-
    1. Go to the Application menu and open it.
    2. Then search Synaptic and select Synaptic Package Manager and then enter the password.
    3. Then search Ink/Toner and select both Ink and Libink Ink.
    4. Click on Apply.
    5. Now open the Linux Mint Application Menu and then search and start the Terminal.
    6. Then type “cd/usr/bin” and then press enter.
    7. Finally, type “ink -p usb” and press enter.
